 Parador de Malaga Gibralfaro This Parador rises up surrounded by pine trees on the Gibralfaro mountain and facing the `Alcazaba` citadel, from where the Bay and the city of Málaga can be seen from a unique perspective. Built from stone next to the Gibralfaro castle, its position allows easy visits of Málaga and it is suitable for numerous sporting activities: golf, tennis, etc., in the nearby facilities of the Parador del Golf. The common spaces, in addition to the bedrooms and the swimming pool on the top floor, enjoy beautiful views of the city and the sea, also offering an excellent level of comfort. A magnificent display of Andalusian gastronomy, the restaurant offers, among other dishes, `fritura de pescaítos a la malagueña` (small fried fish Malaga-style).

HOW TO GET THERE:

Located within the precincts of the Málaga Alcazaba, it can be reached from the centre of Málaga, arriving at the bullring, along the Paseo de Reding towards Gibralfaro Castle. The Parador is next to the castle of the same name. Another more simple way to find it, if coming from the Algeciras dual carriageway or the Antequera, Granada, Córdoba, Seville and Madrid road, or by the N-340 from Almería and Nerja, is to follow the `Ronda de Málaga` and to turn off at the `Limonar` exit.
