I´m not sure why I had never taken a tour with Sean and Tiernan before but I have to remedy that! This tour was wonderful. I´m always leery of tours at cathedrals and churches but they managed to present an excellent history and current day tour without it being overly deep in religion and dates. The cathedral is beautiful on the exterior and their addition of interior shots were perfect while there are restrictions in place. Looking forward to more tours.

A fantastic tour in Santiago, showing us the area around the Cathedral and the Cathedral itself, as well as photos of the inside of the Cathedral (as filming inside the Cathedral was not allowed today) and of some reconstructions of what the Cathedral is believed to have once looked like. They also provided lots of information about St. James, the Camino de Santiago, and the area around the Cathedral, even spending 15 extra minutes with us to give us a viewpoint of the Cathedral towers from a nearby park and show the reconstructions again upon request. Highly recommended.

Sean and Tiernan showed a nice variety of sights on their tour. I enjoyed the black amber and silver in the shops, the statue on the park bench, and the various Celtic details nearly as much as the magnificent views both inside and outside of the cathedral. It felt good that they led us through the Holy Door and lit a candle for us near the altar.

Sean knows his material and is prepared. He is excited about his city and loves to show it to us. I was in Santiago de Compostela three years ago. I had a four-hour tour. Sean showed us as much today as I learned then, for we were there at the height of the tourist season. Today he had no lines and took us straight through the marvelous Cathedral of St. James. He pointed out everything that I considered important from my tour. He told us everything that is outstanding! I love that he showed his large pictures and told us when he was showing a building or scene that we should photography. I loved this tour!

I have done several sightseeing trips to date, all are good and in present day circumstances the only safe way to see other places.
However, Sean´s tour was definitely up in the top two I have joined, all guides are good but some make it come to life... with Sean, I felt I was there in person, also, his knowledge was outstanding, I will definitely be joining another of his tours.

I have had to cancel my Camino trip for 2 years running now due to the Pandemic. So I thought this trip to Santiago would be good. It was amazing, gave me so much information about the Camino and the significance of the scallop shell. Sean and his son also took us into the Cathedral via the door that is only open during the Holy Year, which has whetted my appetite for the Camino even more. It was a wonderful tour with wonderful Tour Leaders xx
